Author Treasure Blue has done it again! Little Bad Girl 2 has me on edge waiting for 3...Will Chantel be able to continue to hide her Hate and Anger towards her Molester turned Preacher!!! Her New Bestie Precious is Not going to allow her to just Forgive and Forget because she too had been victimized by her Crack Addicted Mother's boyfriends!She wasn't as Blessed as Chantel to not have been added to the HIV Epidemic!! This is a must Read for Woman as well as Young Woman!!
This picks up from the shocking end of part 1. Chantel is set on protecting her sister. Things are not as bad as they seem and stuff appears to be improving. This is when Treasure Blue smacks us readers in the face with a sledgehammer! Precious is holding on to secrets of her own and we get to read about why she has such strong feelings of revenge. Really good short story series and can't wait for the conclusion. Treasure Blue you must continue with these ladies in a future book!
I see Chantel proved that she has inner strength.You have to swallow your pride and get along with life's journey to make it in this world. Yes, you even have to sacrifice your own happiness just for the people you love. Her love for her sister was just that deep. I don't know if I could be around that phony step-daddy of mines for more that 2 minutes at a time. Precious being there when she needed a friend was her saving grace,having shared the same experience. I still want to see what is to be done to the step- daddy. Please make it hurt real bad.

It took me a while to start reading this book, but when I started, I read all 3 series in 2 hours. The series is awesome, the characters and story line is awesome, BUT...but...but...there is one HUGE disappointment (hence the 4 stars). The series are short stories with unbelievable cliffhangers; I hate when authors put out short story installments. So get the series if you have the patience, or wait until the final series comes out; Either way the Little Bad Girls series are a must-get! Oh and Ophelia scares me, and I mean really scares me.
Treasure Blue is a talented writer and he again delivers in this second installment of Little Bad Girl. This story takes you on a journey between Precious and her friend Chantel. These are two very different girls whom form a friendship and helps each other out along the journey. In the first installment we learned about about the things that happened to Chantel that made her into the person she is and with the attitude that she has and this second installment keeps you guessing and then we learn some things about Precious. I am highly anticipating the third installment in this series because I have to know what happens next. Five thumbs up Treasure and keep up the good work. You have a fan for life. You have to read it because I don't want to give a implicit review that would stop you from reading it.Little Bad Girl 2
Picking up where part one left off, Little Bad Girl 2 jumps right into the drama. In this installation, the focus shifts from what the main character experienced in the streets to her home life. At seventeen years of age, Chantel is placed into a position where she must make decisions that are way beyond her maturity level, forcing her to grow up and think like the woman she will soon become. I was eager to see how the story would transpire after reading the first segment. The cliffhanger at the end has me anticipating what's next. This is one of those stories where reading from the beginning will be a benefit though the author did a great job of wrapping up part one in the event that one has started with this book. Again, be prepared for a more boutique read as it is quick and not as extensive as a full length novel. Still, it is well written enough to have me wanting to follow the series.
This review might be a little short because I'm tired and now heading to bed. With that out of the way let me commend Mr. Blue for a terrific follow up to part 1. This writer isn't a legend in the urban literary game for nothing. he knows how to draw you in, he knows how to make something which may be taboo turn out to be the truest form of love out there. He knows how to change a characters mind not with harsh words and threats but with tears, raw emotion, shameless truth and love.
I really enjoyed part 2 because we delved deeper into the lives of these teenage girls, we were expecting something much different but what we got was a character driven story which really set things up nicely in part 3. the characters in this story are well developed and they see the world through eyes which shouldn't see such things, felt things bodies are not to feel at a young age. This was a self examination of just how harsh the ghetto can b and how unforgiving it is on both sides.
Hats off to you again brother, keep on doing you and again wishing you all the very best and for those who are saying it's too short. It's only 99 cents and it's called a SHORT STORY (jeez)
I waited until all 3 stories were released. I didn't want to be teased with a partial Treasure Blue story. Greedy... needed it all at once. I truly was not disappointed.
Mr. Blue has a style of writing that makes this reader feel the emotions of all characters involved. He writes about things that a lot us would rather sweep under the rug than talk about. I have followed him since Harlem Girl Lost and he has failed to disappoint me.
I did not give insight to what this story is about because I can't summarize it without giving away the whole story. A real reader should have the enjoyment of experiencing the work of Mr. Blue for him/herself. I will say this everybody knows of a Precious...Boston...Chantel and Nakea...we even know of a Silver,Keisha,Desire and Betty...we just sweep them under the rug and don't talk about them. Treasure Blue gives these young women voices.
